3G Services in India
Once you have 3G Services activated and your handset supports video calls then you can even make video calls to a compatible device without having webcam or sitting in front of computer.
3G Services in India are launched only by MTNL initially with its own risk. Later MTNL is followed by BSNL in the same spectrum to provide its customers 3G services in India and is in common use now for BSNL and MTNL customers. There are security risks made by Indian security agencies saying that voice calls are not decodable and we need to halt their 3G services till they are able to decode such calls. On the contrary both the Telco’s denied to halt and asked them to find a solution as soon as possible. Once the solution is on then we have a wide spectrum of 3G network in India and communication will become more frequent by the use of 3G services.
A 3G service network is well capable for sending and receiving video calls, watch live TV, access the internet, receive emails and download music tracks, as well as the usual voice call and messaging services found on a mobile phone. So this gives a nice and fast way of communication and use a mobile phone more than what it does in present.
However 3G services in India are still need to be launched on broad spectrum. Department of Telecommunication has approved the launch of 3G service in India and provided the spectrums to different mobile companies for their launch in this year 2010. So India will be soon able to achieve 3G communication.
Pricing is actually reasonable as rs. 300 is the initial for entry and rs. 3 per MB. There are various data packs available in pre paid as well as in Post paid. But the services still are not in full flow as customers have network problem. Once the services go on its full swing then India will have great future in 3G spectrum.
3G Service in India launched in various metro cities and states which include 13 major cities with Mumbai, Banglore and Delhi as metro cities. Service launched in Agra, Ambala, Dehradun, Jammu, Shimla, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Patna, Durgapur, Lucknow ,Haldia, Ranchi and Bhubaneshwar.
At last on the fate whether we are able to mess up with 3G services of India, there is a new technology already came as 4G which has very much faster and obvious better than 3G and provide its users a more wider spectrum of telecommunication through mobiles.
3G Services of India are still need to catch up the pace and need much broad spectrum to initiate 3G Service in India to win the race with other countries.
