To speak technically about the 3G service and 2G service is that the primary difference between these two services i.e 3G and 2G networks is how quickly data can be sent and received on a mobile network. Since every one wants every thing on finger tips 3G services play a vital role in the 21 century. The dream of every one to do video calls will become true with the 3G service because a 3G network can send and receive data up to 40 times compared to the 2G network which to my understanding is that apart from the regular features which are offered in the current networks like the audio, images and text which can be sent and received now all those with a 3G enabled mobile and 3G network these users can send and receive video contents, calls on their mobile phones in 3G network coverage areas which changes the way a mobile phone is used. They provide service at 5-10 Mb per second. The dream has come true in some metros of India like Mumbai and other places.
The 3G service gives more bandwidth to the users giving greater speed and access and also gives way to support more applications and features. This service can accommodate many more features. With 3G services one can have a faster connection for loading web pages, browsing internet, can have a better call quality, high speed of streaming video and audio online. The fun of watching live TV anywhere on the move will be resolved by the 3G services and also all the multi media functions especially online can be done with a greater speed and accuracy. Though 3G has its advantages than 2G it drains the battery life. So it is advised to use a mobile phone with a high battery life.
